There are several easy sources that come to mind in an instant; a local Veterinarian and neighbors. The obvious may be the internet but no matter what approach you take do one thing. Call and ask if you can come in for a visit with your pet. This is simple way to break the ice and visit the new salon.
You will be able to ask questions; check out the cleanliness and get a general feel for the way the salon is managed. Taking your pet along also allows the groomer to see the coat and get a feel for the temperament. This is a great help to both you and the groomer. Now a base price can be established and, if you would like to make an appointment the groomer will be able to place your pet in a time slot that will allow the groomer adequate time to perform the process.

However the most important reason is to allow your pet to get a feel for the new environment. Dogs especially are creatures who connect with smell, and sound. Having a fun experience without the pressure of grooming will make the "real" visit a pleasant one.

Nu Vet Supplements

Significantly reduce the risk or eliminate many problems that strike your pet.

Skin & Coat Problems
Scratching
Itching
Hot Spots
Allergies
Arthritis
Premature Aging
Low Energy Levels
Cataracts
Digestive Problems
Heart Disease
Tumors

Natural, human grade daily supplement

So pure, it is one of the few pet products manufactured in an FDA
(human grade) manufacturing facility

Dog and cat versions available

No sugars or fillers

Ask Us

Ask the Groomer. This would also apply to cats.

So it seems that after years of consideration this Nationally Certified Groomer decided to go with the flow and just cave in to the demands of her clients. Personally I think there is an ethics problem here but I am no lawyer.

Well I'm here to let all of you know that it simply is not in the best interest of your pet to shave all the hair off. It's like a surgeon removing an organ that should be treated instead.

This drastic action may cause health problems in the future and takes away all of the protection that the coat offers the animal. So, if you don't want you pet to be in the vet's office being treated for follicular problems or post traumatic allopecia try proper grooming or choose a breed that is easy to maintain or learn to groom the animal yourself.
